What is your role at The Eliot?
I am the Assistant Executive Director here at The Eliot at Catskill.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
I like spending my work days with the amazing residents, their families and wonderful staff. I like providing support to our team wherever it is needed to help them strive and be successful in the roles they are in.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
I love spending my free time with my family and doing anything outdoors. We especially love camping. I also have a passion for plants and gardening.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character, and why do you like them?
My favorite cartoon characters are the Wonder pets. It’s a turtle, Guinea pig and duckling that work together as a team to save other animals in trouble.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
Transitioning to our community is a life changing event. Not only for the resident, but for their family as well. The team here works hard to help ease that transition for all involved and provide the best care possible. Give yourself time to adjust and keep busy!

I am the Executive Director of the Eliot at Catskill.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
I like my role as the Executive Director because I am able to work so closely with residents, their families, and the staff.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy working on my little farm and taking my daughter for rides on her pony.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character, and why do you like them?
Wonder Woman has always been my favorite super hero due to her strong personality, compassionate, and empathetic personality.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
I would encourage residents and families to get involved in the community and get to know the staff who is there to help care for them.

I am the Director of Admissions and Community Relations.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
I enjoy being a part of our dedicated team, as well as establishing relationships with potential residents, their families, and our community.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
You will always find me on the dance floor! I love to dance, work out, walk, and spend quality time with my family, and our 2 cats.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character, and why do you like them?
I have always been a Snoopy fan and of the Peanuts gang. They always seem to bring a smile to my face and remind me of my childhood.

Come tour our home, meet myself and the team, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. We want you to feel comfortable in choosing your new home in the next stage of your life!

I like that I get to interact with the residents every day. I like knowing that I am able to make a difference in someone’s life.

I love to hike during the fall months and spend my summers on the beach

My favorite cartoon character was Scooby-Doo and how the team of mystery inc. would solve mysteries.

Take things day by day. This is a big life change, you are not alone! Our team will be here to support you/or your loved one every step of the way. Together we will be successful.

I like bringing happiness to people. Putting a smile on someone’s face is PRICELESS! I enjoy getting to be in the “fun department.”

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and my best friends.; eating, listening to music, and just being present in the moments we share together.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character, and why do you like them?
My favorite cartoon character is Linda Belcher from Bob’s Burgers because she the kind of wife, mom and friend that loves unconditionally. She knows what is important in life and is all about the people she loves.

Personalize your space, make it home for you. Get involved in activities. It will help you meet new people. Stay active and keep doing the things you enjoyed doing before. Give yourself time to adjust to all the “new.”

The best part of my job is getting to know the residents and knowing they can confide in me.

In my free time I enjoy watching anime and knitting.

My favorite anime character is Renji from Bleach. I like him because he is quirky but always tries to do the right thing.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
My tips for prospective residents is to get to know the other residents and participate in activities. The residents and staff become like a second family over time and will be there for both the good and bad.

This place is a beautiful facility, great upgrades and wonderful staff. The activities and food are great, the residents are always smiling and they make people feel so welcome. My mother will be going here when it’s time, and I would highly recommend sending your loved one to The Eliot at Catskill!!
