What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
I like my role as the Executive Director because I am able to work so closely with residents, their families, and the staff.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy working on my little farm and taking my daughter for rides on her pony.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character, and why do you like them?
Wonder Woman has always been my favorite super hero due to her strong personality, compassionate, and empathetic personality.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
I would encourage residents and families to get involved in the community and get to know the staff who is there to help care for them.

What is your role at the Eliot?
My role here at The Eliot at Catskill is, Director of Admissions and Marketing.

My role is significant because I am responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources in our community for potential admissions. When I receive a referral or inquiry about our home, I communicate with the resident and their families to ensure the admissions process is as smooth as possible from start to finish.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
The best part of my role here is giving residents and their families peace of mind. Instead of worrying about a loved ones everyday needs, families can be relieved that we will take care of all of that for them. In turn, resident and families can truly enjoy their time with each other.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love anything to do with the outdoors and camping. I also have a love and fascination for growing tropical plants. My favorite genus of plants is Hoyas.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character, and why do you like them?
My favorite cartoon characters are the Wonder Pets. It’s a team consisting of a turtle, duck and a Guinea pig that work together to help animals in need.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
My tip for prospective residents and their families is to know that we will love and care for your family like they are our own. This is a new beginning, not the end. Let the good times and fun begin!

What is your role at the Eliot?
I am the Director of Admissions and Community Relations

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
One think I like about my role is working with the community to help ensure individuals are finding a home that best suits their needs whether it be with us or another location. I also enjoy helping those over the initial shock of moving into an Assisted living. Often times the transition is tough but my team is always there to lift frowns to smiles with their unique and genuine personalities.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
I love animals and would love to open a rescue someday.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character and why do you like them?
My favorite superhero is the hulk because he is pure destruction with good intentions ( A Gentle Giant)

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
Do not think of an assisted living as a final destination. We are a safe haven for those who need a little extra assistance.
The decision to move does not mean you are losing your independence. You are simply expanding your social circle by moving to a close knit community setting and accepting help from qualified individuals in the process.

I’m the Case Manager at The Eliot at Catskill.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
My role is focused on advocating for residents, coordinating services and resources, and assisting residents navigate the healthcare system. I love being a part of a team whose main focus is to create a community where the residents can feel safe and and empowered in their every day life.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my son.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character and why do you like them?
My favorite superhero is Storm from the Marvel comics. Storm for me represents strength, confidence, intelligence, and bravery which I resonate with.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
When moving into an assisted living facility there’s an adjustment period so give yourself the time and grace to adjust to your new home. Take advantage of all the services and activities we offer at The Eliot.

I love helping the residents and seeing them smile every day.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
I greatly enjoy dancing and working with various photographers as a model.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character and why do you like them?
My favorite cartoon character is She Rah, because she is strong, intelligent and independent, and fights evil.

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
Stay positive! Transitioning is not easy but you can rest assured that the staff at The Eliot will do everything they can to help our residents.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
I like being a team leader, helping when and wherever possible. The company was very welcoming when I started this position. The staff were just as amazing, treated me like I was part of their work family.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
Cooking has always been a passion of mine. When I do have free time, cooking is something I do at home or for the local church in town.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character and why do you like them?
I would have to say that my superhero would actually be my mother. If it was not for her, I would have never learned the skills that I have in cooking now. She is a fighter who taught me how to fight and go for what I want.

This is a wonderful place to want to live. You meet many different people, who greet you with open arms.

I am the Life Enrichment Director at the Eliot at Catskill. I keep the residents both physically and mentally engaged in activities throughout the day.

What do you like about your specific role or about the Eliot as a whole?
Each day I enjoy and look forward to coming to work and spending time with your loved ones who reside at the Eliot.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
I enjoy target shooting, crafting, fishing and spending time with my family in my free time.

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character and why do you like them?
My Favorite superhero is Superman because he can achieve the impossible!

There is so much care given at the Eliot, be open to it! The residents are treated with the same compassion and care that I would give to my own family!

What is your role at the Eliot?
I am the Environmental Services Director here at the Eliot at Catskill. My position is crucial to maintaining a safe, clean, and functional building for both residents and staff.

What do you like about your specific role or about the company, as a whole?
What I enjoy most about my position here at The Eliot is the ability to improve the quality of living for our residents in a tangible way.

What is a fun fact about you or something you enjoy in your free time?
The things I enjoy most in my free time are Sports, Hunting, Gaming, Reading, and the Gym!

Who is your favorite superhero or cartoon character and why do you like them?
My favorite superhero is Captain America. He is strong, determined, honest, and is always willing to do what is right , even in the face of self-sacrifice. I admire him and strive to exhibit those characteristics as best I can!

Do you have any tips for prospective residents and their families?
If I were to give any prospective residents some advice, it would be to sit back and relax. You’re in good company!

This place is a beautiful facility, great upgrades and wonderful staff. The activities and food are great, the residents are always smiling and they make people feel so welcome. My mother will be going here when it’s time, and I would highly recommend sending your loved one to The Eliot at Catskill!!
